The project objective is to improve the operation of public administration, through education of staff for use of ICT solutions with aim for faster and quality service. Through ICT training, managers and employees in the civil service will be more competent, competitive and equipped with skills that are needed to contribute to increased quality and improved productivity. The program is in line with the needs of the civil service and the intention to reduce “the gap of ICT use” to increase employee performance.
The first phase includes successfully monitoring of the course iExec, which is developed from CISCO, by employees and advisers of three municipalities of the City of Skopje Municipality Kisela Voda, Municipality Karposh and Municipality Center. Total 38 participants from the municipal administration will benefit from attending the program.
The second phase includes construction of a business study that will be a real ICT solution for the municipality, where the best two solutions will be awarded with $ 1,500 which will be used for implementation. They will enable faster and more efficient operation of the municipalities, which will lead to better communication between public and private sectors, and also contribute to bringing the country closer to European and world practices.
In view of the fact that the Information Communication technologies are getting in every aspects of social and business word, public services are facing the challenge to decrease the bureaucracy and the acquisition of greater transparency in their operation.
The project commenced in April 2011 and it will ended in November 2011, and it is expected the awarded solutions to be fully implemented.
According to the Programme of Skopje region , YES Foundation operates in the area which encourag the entrepreneurial spirit and support for young people in their idea to start their business in Information Communication Technologies. The ultimate goal is to improve the economic situation in the country, reducing unemployment and the development of information society.
Implement the project of YES Foundation and in collaboration with the Centre for Development at the Skopje region.
XII Session of SPR
On 21.04.2011 (Thursday) at 13:30 a XII Session of Council for development of Skopje region was held at hotel Best – Western Belvi in Ilinden municipality.
The session was chaired by President of the Council of Skopje region, Mr. Tony Trajkovski. At the session it was discussed and adopted the Action Plan 2011god and draft-financial and working report for 2010god. for the Centre for Development of SPR.

На ден 21.04.2011год. (четврток) со почеток во 13.30 часот се одржи XII Седница на Советот за развој на Скопски плански регион во х.Бест Вестерн – Белви во општина Илинден.
Со седницата раководеше Претседателот на Советот на Скопски плански регион г-дин Тони Трајковски.На седницата се разгледуваше и се усвои Акциониот план за 2011год и Предлог -финасиски и работен извештај за 2010год. на Центарот за развој на СПР.

On 28th of January 2010, Mr. Toni Trajkovski, President of the Council of the Skopej region, Mr. Damijan Perne, President of the Council of the Gorenjska region, R.Slovenija, as well as the Director of the Agency for development of the Gorenjska region, Mr. Bogo Filipich and Executive director of the Center for development of the Skopje region, Ms. Aneta Lozanovska, with their signatures confirmed the Memorandum for cooperation between the two regions and Centers for development.

XI Session of the Coucil for development of Skopje region was held on 01.02.2011 at the premises of Gjorce Petrov municipality at 11:00 hrs. The Session was chaired by the President of the Council of Skopje region Mr.Toni Trajkovski.

На 27.12.2010год. со почеток во 13 часот беше одржана X (десетата) седница на Скопски плански регион. Со седницата раководеше Претседателот на Советот на Скопски плански регион г-дин Тони Трајковски.
На седницата присуствуваа г-дин Зоран Јанаќиев Претседател на МИИ кој го презентираше планот за воспоставивање на соработка помеѓу Центарот за развој на Скопски плански регион и Македонскиот Институт за Интеграција (МИИ) со предлог проект ,,Програма за развој на Скопски плански регион”, и Проф. д-р Радмил Поленаковиќ, од Машински Факултет кој збореше за формирање на Научно-технолошки парк во Скопскиот регион и воспоставување на соработка помеѓу Центарот за развој на Скопски плански регион и Машинскиот факултет, Универзитет Св.,,Кирил и Методиј”.
