Funds provided by the Center for Development of Skopje Planning Region reconstruct the street "Rilski Kongres" Tasino Cesmiche in the Municipality of Centar

Starting today, the reconstruction of the road on the street “Rilski Congress” on Tasino Cesmiche in the Municipality of Centar begins. The reconstruction of the street follows significant damage to the final asphalt layer.
According to the Program for Balanced Regional Development for 2019 adopted by the Government, the Republic of North Macedonia has been allocated funds for financing the Skopje Planning Region in the total amount of 20,789,773 denars. The Center for Development of Skopje Planning Region is currently working on twelve projects, including the project “Reconstruction of the street Rilski Kongres” Tasino Cesmiche in the Municipality of Centar for which funds are in the amount of 4,679,302 denars.
“The Rilski Congress in its current state has a damaged asphalt finish, and in some parts the damage is so great that it disables normal traffic and endangers the safety of drivers and pedestrians. That is why we start with the reconstruction of the street which basically implies replacement of the existing asphalt finish. The reconstruction project covers the intersection of the crossroads with the street “Gjorgji Skrizevski” on one side and the intersection with the street “Crniche” on the other side, ie the part of the street located in the territory of the Municipality of Centar.
The reconstruction of the street is scheduled to be completed within a week, after which this street should provide the appropriate level for safe running of motor and pedestrian traffic.
The duration of this project according to the contract with the economic operator is 60 (sixty) days from the day of signing the contract.
