Fifth informative event – Financing growth of SMEs organized by the Business Center of Skopje Planning Region in cooperation with MCC

On 20^th May, 2015 in Skopje was held the fifth advisory event for SMEs, organized by the Business Centre at Skopje Region. The theme of this event was Funding for the growth of SMEs (which is especially interesting) given the opportunity to present companies to learn about the current credit support offered by commercial banks, Macedonian Bank for Development Support ( MBDS ), European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD), Crimson Capital Foundation as well as other programs for SME financing.
The purpose of these informative meetings, organized by the Business Center is companies (primarily from the Skopje region) to learn more about credit terms and support for them which are available to improve their liquidity – said in his speech Project Coordinator of Business Center at Skopje Planning Region (SPR), Ms. Rosalia K. Vasilevska. With these activities, the business center of Skopje Planning Region in cooperation with the MCC, expanding its scope of work and brings the necessary advisory and consulting services to companies in the region.
Mr. Mitko Aleksov, CEO of MCC, wlekcoming the guests said that finances are the basis for smooth functioning of any business, without which it can not provide normal operations and planned growth. Without financial support, or support from the financial sector, the businesss sector can not function, not only in smaller countries, even in the most developed economies.
From the 40 companies, present on this event, there were set a huge number of questions to the banks – which presents, in terms of current and available credit lines, insurance, short-term borrowings, factoring and credit limits. Five banks presented their portfolios and were answering questions from the audience, in the part of both interactive sessions which were organized.
