Second session of Regional Community Forums

The Center for Development of the Skopje Planning Region, within the project “Sustainable and inclusive balanced regional development –II phase, which is implemented by the Ministry of Local Self-Government and the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation, today held the second session of Regional Community Forums, where prioritization was given to the project proposal for funding from the Bureau of Regional Development – Ministry of Local Self-Government. The concepts from the list of proposed projects were prioritized in the following order:
  1. Up-rehabilitation of an existing local road, Hippodrom settlement towards Ilinden and Petrovec (1.9 km) – Municipality of Gazi Baba
  2. Investment in photovoltaics, energy efficiency, protection of the human environment – Kisela Voda Municipality
  3. Improvement of tourist signage and infrastructure in the Skopje Planning Region through the installation of tourist signage and landscaping with street lighting in the locality Gradište, village of Taor – Municipality of Zelenikovo
  4. Investment in photovoltaics, energy efficiency, protection of the human environment, and smart boards for children’s education – Municipality of Chucher Sandevo
  5. Investment in photovoltaics, energy efficiency, protection of the human environment – Municipality of Shuto Orizari
  6. Improvement of tourist infrastructure for the protection of cultural monuments (cultural heritage) in the old Bazaar – SAAT KULA (access streets) – Chair Municipality
  7. Investment in waste collection vehicles and garbage cans – Municipality of Arachinovo.
In the following period, all these concepts will be presented and prioritized before the council for the development of the Skopje planning region.
