Invitation to a second forum session

The Center for Development of Skopje Planning Region invites you to the second forum session of the Regional Community Forums Program, which will take place on February 20 (Thursday) 2020, at 11 am, at the Economic Chamber of Macedonia – Congress Hall.
The purpose of the second forum session is to present and develop the draft concepts for improving social inclusion in the Skopje Planning Region, following the proposals and project ideas defined by the participants as priority during the first forum session.
The forum process is implemented within the framework of the project “Sustainable and inclusive balanced regional development”, with the support of the Ministry of Local Self-Government of the Republic of North Macedonia and the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation.
The Skopje region is expected to receive a grant of 80,442 Swiss francs to support the implementation of one of the three project proposals, which participants will prioritize as projects of greatest regional importance and greatest impact on the socio-economic life of the citizens of this region.
The Regional Community Forums Program is a model of participatory citizen participation in decision making at the regional level, building partnerships and capacities for balanced regional development and civic contribution to community development.
