Third Regional Community Forum within the framework of the project "Sustainable and Inclusive Balanced Regional Development"

On 28.02.2019 in the Holiday Inn hotel, the Center for Development of the Skopje Planning Region organized the third Regional Community Forum within the framework of the project “Sustainable and Inclusive Balanced Regional Development”, which was realized with the financial support of the Swiss Confederation, represented by the Embassy of Switzerland in the Republic of Macedonia, the Swiss Agency for Development and the Ministry of Local Self-Government of the Republic of Macedonia.
The event was attended by representatives from the second session of the forum with project proposals that were proposed by all stakeholders: municipalities, business sector, civil sector, educational institutions, citizens and other stakeholders.
In the direction of the selection criteria for the priority topics of the second session, 7 concepts were approved in the following areas: environmental protection, social inclusion, municipal administration, business sector, tourism, culture, urbanism.
Within the priority areas, all 7 concepts were presented to the participants, with each proposal-concept being discussed, in the direction of whether the proposal complies with the criteria and within the financial threshold proposed by the donors for the purpose of its implementation.
The Center for Development of the Skopje Region, with a vote of the participants, allocated 3 project proposals from the “Community Forum”.
