Third informative event of the Business Center at the Center for Development of Skopje Planning Region

On March 21, 2015 in Skopje was held the third inforamtive and counselling event for SMEs, organized by the Business Center of Skopje Region and the Union of Chambers of Commerce on the topic of Energy Efficiency in construction – Green buildings. The event was attended by over 50 companies, representatives of ministries and agencies as well as municipalities.
The head of the Center for development of SPR Mrs. Aneta L. Ravvlinson, opened the event and addressed the audience by emphasizing that the Concept of green building is of paramount importance not only for the competitiveness of the construction sector but also for every citizen of Macedonia, because it greatly improves the quality of life, impact on improving safety and human health and the environment.
The event was addressed by State Secretary of the Ministry of Local Government Ms. Biljana Cvetanovska Gugoska, which noted the importance of the project for the Business Center in which the event is held as part of a Government program to support regional development. Also, Deputy Minister of Environment, Mr. Stevo Temelkovski, executive director of the Union of Chambers of Commerce, Mr. Mitko Aleksov and Vice President of the Macedonian Council for green buildings Sead Kocan, addressed to this event.
Within the project of the Business Center in Skopje region, recently was signed a Memorandum for Cooperation between the Center for development of SPR and the Union of Chambers of Commerce in Macedonia, to raise the level of quality offered advisory services for SMEs, joint planning seminars, debates, forums, and institutional partnership for project application.
